Borecole (Kale) 'Redbor'

Borecole 'Redbor' is a wonderfully ornamental and edible kale, featuring intensely curled, deep purple-red leaves that intensify in colour with colder weather. It provides a striking visual in the winter garden. Reaching an ultimate height of 90cm and a spread of 60cm, this very hardy biennial (H7) is typically grown as an annual. Sow in spring for harvesting from autumn through winter. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and fertile, well-drained soil. The leaves are delicious raw in salads or cooked.
