Mustard Greens 'Red Giant'

Mustard Greens 'Red Giant' is an attractive and fast-growing leafy green, producing large, deeply ruffled, reddish-purple leaves with a pungent, peppery flavour. It adds a vibrant colour and kick to salads and stir-fries. This quick-growing annual reaches an ultimate height of 40cm and a spread of 30cm. It can be sown from spring to late summer for repeated harvests. Prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, fertile soil. The small yellow flowers, if allowed to bolt, attract pollinators. 'Red Giant' is a great 'cut-and-come-again' crop, providing fresh greens over a long period.
