Swan River Daisy 'Splendour Mixed'

'Splendour Mixed' is a charming selection of Swan River Daisy, offering a carpet of small, daisy-like flowers in shades of blue, purple, and white, all with contrasting dark or yellow centers. The foliage is exceptionally fine and feathery, giving the plant a light, airy feel. In the UK, it is highly valued for its ability to trail gracefully over the edges of hanging baskets and containers, though it also makes a lovely, low-growing bedding plant. It reaches about 25cm in height. This is a half-hardy annual (H2) that loves a sunny, warm position. While it is relatively easy to grow from seed sown in early spring, it does require consistent moisture to look its best—if allowed to dry out completely, it can stop flowering. In the UK, it is often used to provide a "softening" effect in formal bedding schemes. It is generally pest and disease-free, making it a reliable choice for beginner gardeners.
