Cross Vine

An evergreen or semi-evergreen, tendril-climbing vine, originating from North America. It can reach 6-9m in height with a spread of 2-3m. Hardy in sheltered areas (H4), it thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. In late spring to early summer, it produces clusters of beautiful, trumpet-shaped flowers that are orange-red on the outside and yellow inside, often with a slight chocolate scent. Ideal for covering walls or fences in milder gardens. Its dense foliage offers good year-round screening.

Sun: Full sun to partial shade.

Soil: Well-drained.
