Perpetual Spinach 'Conservor'
'Conservor' is a highly productive and long-lasting perennial spinach cultivar, providing a continuous harvest of tender, dark green leaves over many months, often year-round in mild areas. It forms a bushy plant, reaching 30-45cm in height and spread. This variety is exceptionally hardy (H6) and much less prone to bolting than true spinach, making it a reliable staple for the UK kitchen garden. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Regular picking of outer leaves encourages more growth. An excellent substitute for true spinach, offering similar flavour and nutritional benefits with greater resilience. An RHS AGM winner for its reliability and long cropping period.
