Swiss Chard 'Five Colour'
A highly ornamental and productive Swiss Chard cultivar, renowned for its vibrant stems in shades of red, pink, orange, and yellow, with dark green, crinkled leaves. 'Five Colour' provides a continuous harvest of both leaves and stalks, reaching an ultimate height of 40-60cm and a spread of 30-40cm. It is a hardy biennial, often grown as an annual (H4) in the UK. Inconspicuous green flowers appear if allowed to bolt in its second year. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soil. An excellent choice for adding colour to the vegetable patch and a favourite with gardeners for its sustained yield.
