Wax Begonia 'Cocktail Series'

Begonia semperflorens 'Cocktail Series' is an incredibly versatile and robust annual, perfect for adding continuous colour to UK gardens from late spring through to autumn. This series is celebrated for its attractive bronze or green foliage, which provides a striking contrast to the profusion of red, pink, or white flowers. These compact and bushy plants are ideal for mass plantings, edging, and container displays, offering a neat and tidy appearance. Wax Begonias prefer partial shade to full sun, provided they receive adequate moisture, and thrive in fertile, well-drained soil. They are remarkably tolerant of various weather conditions, making them a reliable performer for a long season of interest. Deadheading is not strictly necessary as they are 'self-cleaning', but removing spent blooms can keep them looking their best.
