Astilbe 'Visions'

Astilbe 'Visions' is a striking perennial offering fluffy, upright plumes of vibrant raspberry-pink flowers in mid-summer, providing excellent colour and texture to shaded areas of the UK garden. Its attractive, deeply cut, bronze-green foliage emerges in spring, adding ornamental value even before the blooms appear. 'Visions' is a more compact variety, making it suitable for smaller gardens or front of the border plantings. Hardy and relatively low-maintenance, it thrives in moist, humus-rich soil and prefers partial to full shade, where its colours truly glow. Avoid dry conditions, as this can lead to scorching of the foliage. It's perfect for woodland borders and alongside water features.
