Sprenger's asparagus fern

Although commonly called a fern, this is actually a member of the lily family, grown for its arching stems densely covered with needle-like cladodes, providing a soft, feathery texture. It's often used as an ornamental houseplant in the UK due to its tenderness, but can be grown outdoors in containers during summer for a lush, exotic feel.
