Alpine Rock Cress 'Schneeball'

Arabis caucasica, commonly known as Alpine Rock Cress, is a robust and cheerful evergreen perennial that forms spreading mats, perfect for carpeting rockeries, walls, and borders in UK gardens. Its grey-green foliage provides a year-round backdrop, and in spring, it transforms into a dazzling display of small, four-petalled white flowers, often with a delightful honey-like scent. These prolific blooms create a waterfall effect, making it an excellent plant for softening hard landscaping or cascading over edges. It thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil, being remarkably drought-tolerant once established. With excellent hardiness, usually H6, it's a low-maintenance choice that provides exuberant early spring colour, attracting early pollinators to the garden.
