Zebra plant

Although commonly called the Zebra Plant, Aphelandra squarrosa is not a rose but a tropical foliage plant, often grown as a houseplant in the UK. Prized for its striking dark green leaves with prominent white veins and vibrant yellow flower bracts, it adds a touch of exotic colour to indoor spaces. It is not suitable for outdoor garden use in the UK.

Sun: Partial shade.

Soil: Moist but well-drained.
