Alpine Alyssum

This charming alpine perennial forms a compact cushion of grey-green foliage, adorned with clusters of bright yellow flowers in late spring and early summer. It typically grows to a height of 10-15cm with a similar spread, making it ideal for rockeries, crevices, and containers. Alyssum montanum is fully hardy (H7) and prefers full sun and very well-drained, alkaline to neutral soil. Its cheerful blooms provide an early source of nectar for bees. It's a reliable and low-maintenance plant.
