Chocolate Vine

Akebia brachybotrys, or Chocolate Vine, is a vigorous, twining climber with attractive, five-leaflet foliage. It produces clusters of chocolate-purple, scented flowers in spring, followed by sausage-shaped, edible fruits. Ideal for covering walls, fences, or pergolas.
