Bugleweed 'Princess Nadia'

Ajuga reptans 'Princess Nadia' (P) is a vibrant and relatively new cultivar that brings beautiful variegated foliage to the traditional bugle in UK gardens. This attractive ground cover forms dense rosettes of glossy, dark green leaves generously splashed with creamy-white and pink, with the pink flush intensifying in cooler temperatures. In spring, it sends up striking spikes of deep blue flowers, creating a lovely contrast with the colourful foliage. 'Princess Nadia' thrives in partial shade but can tolerate sun if the soil remains consistently moist. It prefers well-drained, humus-rich soil and is fully hardy (H6). Excellent for brightening shady borders, underplanting, or in containers, it offers continuous visual interest.
