Norway Maple
A robust and fast-growing deciduous tree, the Norway maple is a popular urban tree due to its tolerance of varied conditions. It forms a dense, rounded crown with large, five-lobed leaves that are dark green in summer, turning brilliant yellow and sometimes orange-red in autumn. Clusters of bright yellow-green flowers appear in early spring before the leaves unfurl, adding a cheerful splash of colour. Extremely hardy and adaptable, it thrives in most well-drained soils and tolerates urban pollution, full sun, and partial shade. A good choice for larger gardens and street planting.
